Well, here we go.

After years of working, dreaming, planning, second-guessing, and saying “one day,” my one day is finally here.

I retire next week.

That sentence still feels strange to write.

This newsletter is my 12-month countdown into a brand-new season of life. I’m not in Spain yet. I still have a lot of real-life road between here and there — a new grandbaby on the way, a move back to Tennessee, downsizing, decisions, paperwork, planning, and probably a few moments where I wonder what in the world I’m doing.

But I am Spain bound.

Spain Bound: My Second Chapter is where I’ll share the practical steps, honest emotions, lessons learned, and resources I discover as I prepare for retirement, family, freedom, faith, and a future in Spain.
